However, it is important to remember that many diets can lead to health\u00a0problems instead of the desired result, and some advice is already outdated and does\u00a0not have any scientific evidence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Here are the 5 most common myths about weight\u00a0loss:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Myth no. 1: You are not allowed to eat in the evening after 18PM<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In reality, everyone has their own daily rhythm and eating rhythm, and correct timing for\u00a0last meal is individual. The starting point for individual analysis should be the time when\u00a0you are planning to go to bed and what the last meal consists of. <strong>The general\u00a0recommendation is not to eat 3 hours before bedtime.<\/strong> The last meal should be a little\u00a0lighter, otherwise the food will not be fully digested by bedtime. For example, it takes\u00a0about 3-4 hours to digest the meat, so it is not wise to eat more than 100g of meat in\u00a0the evening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In order not to overeat any food, it is worth following the healthy plate rule:<\/strong>\u00a0half of the plate must consist of vegetables (except potatoes and sweet potatoes), \u00bc of\u00a0the plate of carbohydrates (e.g grains) and \u00bc of the plate of proteins (e.g meat, fish,\u00a0dairy products, eggs). This ensures that what you eat at dinner does not overload your\u00a0digestive system at night and that excess energy does not become fat and cause\u00a0weight gain.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Myth no. 2: Fats make you fat<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>The main cause of weight gain is usually the excess of refined carbohydrate-rich foods\u00a0in the menu rather than healthy fats<\/strong>. Yes, of all the other macronutrients\u00a0(macronutrients are carbohydrates, fats, and proteins), it is fats that provide the mostcalories, but nonetheless, fats must make up 25-35% of our daily energy intake. Why?<\/p>\n<p>Fats are important components in human cell membranes and, depending on the type\u00a0of fatty acid, can either make the cell healthier or damage it. It is important to\u00a0differentiate which fats to consume. For the good health, <strong>the consumption of trans fats\u00a0must be avoided.<\/strong> They are mainly found in confectionery. <strong>Consumption of saturated\u00a0fats should also be limited<\/strong> (not completely avoided). The sources of saturated fatty\u00a0acids are foods of animal origin: fatty meats and dairy products. The source of\u00a0saturated fatty acids in plant-based foods is coconut fat. Excessive consumption of\u00a0saturated fatty acids is harmful to our cardiovascular system and increases the risk of\u00a0inflammation in the body. All other fats are unsaturated and are important for the health\u00a0and do not cause overweight when consumed moderately. These are: vegetable\u00a0oils, fatty fish, avocado, nuts, and seeds. As nuts and seeds are also high in vitamins,\u00a0minerals, and fiber (fiber help to lose weight), it is recommended to eat them every day,\u00a0about 1-2 handfuls (maximum 75g per day).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Omega 3 fatty acids help to reduce\u00a0inflammation in the body.<\/strong> The best sources of omega 3 are fatty fish, also chia, hemp,\u00a0and flax seeds. It is always recommended to read the list of ingredients and rather\u00a0not buying a product that has either added sugars or artificial sugars. For the effective weight loss, it is recommended to have a\u00a0<strong>varied and balanced diet<\/strong>, to <strong>reduce the consumption of refined carbohydrate<\/strong>s and fatty\u00a0meat products, to <strong>increase the consumption of vegetables<\/strong> and to<strong> eat regularly<\/strong>,\u00a0preferably <strong>5 times a day<\/strong>.
